Based in Mount Vernon, IA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years. WIC offers comprehensive services including nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, and robust breastfeeding promotion and support. Additionally, we provide essential referrals for health care to ensure that every family we serve gets the resources they need to thrive.
