The Meal Support Program in Mount Vernon, IA, is dedicated to providing free and accessible meal support for individuals over 16 who are at the outpatient stage of eating disorder recovery. Our program offers a compassionate virtual environment with live, facilitated group meals, creating a safe space for participants to eat and connect with others on similar journeys. We host meal support sessions four times daily, with two options for lunch and two for dinner, allowing individuals to choose times that best fit their schedules. Each session is led by nutrition practitioners who are working towards their CNS certification, ensuring that support is both professional and informed. Although we focus on meal support, we encourage those in need of crisis intervention to reach out to appropriate services.
