Project HEAL Norwalk, IA

About Meal Support Program

The Meal Support Program in Norwalk, IA, is dedicated to providing free and accessible meal assistance specifically for individuals over 16 who are navigating the challenges of eating disorder recovery at the outpatient level. Our program offers live, virtual drop-in group meals designed to create a supportive environment where participants can enjoy nutritious meals alongside trained facilitators. Meal support sessions are scheduled four times daily, including two lunchtime and two dinnertime options, allowing participants the flexibility to join when it fits their schedule. Each session is led by nutrition practitioners from the Clinician’s Incubator training program, who are working towards their CNS certification, ensuring a knowledgeable and empathetic support system. While our service focuses on meal support and peer connection, we encourage those in need of urgent care or crisis assistance to seek help from appropriate resources.
