Located in Oelwein, IA, OvarCare Patient Assistance Program is dedicated to empowering women battling ovarian cancer by providing crucial support during their journey. Understanding the financial burdens faced by these courageous individuals, we offer a tailored financial assistance package that includes a $200 grant to cover essential costs, alongside $100 gas and grocery cards to ease the strain of everyday expenses. We also facilitate access to vital mental health resources through psycho-social counseling sessions conducted by a licensed clinical social worker, and provide genetic counseling sessions via phone with a licensed Genetic Counselor. We encourage healthcare providers to submit applications on behalf of patients, which are processed as they arrive, depending on the availability of our funding. Our mission is to ensure that no woman undergoing treatment has to face these challenges alone, as we stand in solidarity with them and celebrate their resilience.
