The Iowa Individual Disaster Assistance Grant Program (IIAGP), administered by the Iowa Community Action Association, is dedicated to supporting families in Ottumwa, IA, and surrounding areas during times of crisis. Activated through a disaster proclamation by the Governor, this essential program offers financial assistance to households with an annual income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Qualifying families can receive up to $5,000 to assist with urgent needs such as temporary housing, food assistance, replacement of personal property, and essential home repairs. We aim to provide timely support to ensure families can recover and rebuild after a disaster. To apply, simply download the application and submit it to your local Community Action Association by the specified deadline.
