MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Pella, IA, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and connected with appropriate weight management services tailored to their individual needs. We offer a range of options including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-management, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need further assistance after participating in MOVE!
