The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Pella, IA, is dedicated to supporting individuals grappling with the financial burdens associated with chronic, terminal, or rare illnesses such as cancer, Parkinson’s Disease, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to provide vital assistance through utility support and grocery aid, ensuring that those in need can focus on their health and well-being without the additional stress of financial hardship. While our grants can cover either utilities or grocery expenses, we also collaborate with other organizations to connect recipients with additional resources and support.
