Located in Pleasant Hill, IA, River Place Food Pantry provides vital food assistance to families and individuals in need throughout Polk County. As a partnership between Polk County and the Des Moines Area Religious Council's Move the Food program, we ensure that our community members have access to emergency food supplies once a month, offering a three-day supply of healthy, nutritious food along with essential non-food items. Our doors are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., welcoming everyone without regard to income. We are dedicated to alleviating hunger and fostering a supportive environment for those facing food insecurity in our community.
