The Mobile Food Pantry serves the residents of underserved and rural mobile home parks in Solon, IA, by providing essential food assistance on a monthly basis. Our program delivers a wide range of perishable and non-perishable food items, along with baby and household necessities, offering clients the flexibility to select items that best suit their family's needs, with some size-based limits in place. We operate on a first come, first served basis, and while there may be a short wait, we appreciate your understanding and patience. For first-time visitors seeking emergency food assistance, we kindly request you arrive at least 30 minutes before the pantry closes to allow time for a brief interview which typically lasts 15 to 20 minutes. Just bring essential details such as your address, the names and birthdates of household members, and income information. After the initial visit, you will primarily need to provide your name to receive food. Our mobile pantry visits include locations such as Parkview Church on the first Monday each month and Cole’s Mobile Home Court on the second Monday, among others.
