About Meal Support Program
The Meal Support Program in Waterloo, IA, is dedicated to providing free and accessible meal support for individuals over 16 who are navigating the challenges of eating disorder recovery at the outpatient level. Our program offers live, facilitated virtual group meals that create a safe and supportive environment for participants to enjoy nutritious meals together. With four meal support sessions each day, including two lunch and two dinner options, individuals can join as many sessions as their schedules allow after receiving approval. Every session is led by trained nutrition practitioners from the Clinician's Incubator program, who are on the path to earning their CNS certification. While we are here to offer consistent meal support, it's important to note that this program does not serve as crisis intervention. For immediate support, we encourage contacting crisis resources. We believe in fostering community and connection while prioritizing your recovery journey.
