MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to transforming the health and wellness of Veterans in Waterloo, IA, through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission focuses on screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they are connected to appropriate weight management resources tailored to their unique needs. We offer a variety of personalized treatment options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support, as well as the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-guided weight management. For Veterans who continue to face challenges after utilizing our program, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
