Located in Waukon, IA, the Food Pantry is dedicated to serving households facing food insecurity by providing essential food assistance and nutritious options to those in need. We understand the urgency of hunger and are here to help support individuals and families through difficult times. Our program requires new patrons to complete a simple certification process to verify their address, family size, and need, which can be taken home and returned on their next visit. To maintain safety during the pandemic, we ask individuals to wait outside while our caring volunteers prepare bags of food for distribution. Each week, our pantry supplies supplemental food tailored to family size, ensuring that everyone receives the nourishment they need. In emergencies, we welcome individuals to contact us for assistance outside of regular hours. As a proud participant in The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), we ensure enrollment is confidential, requiring only proof of address and ID. Participation in TEFAP does not affect eligibility for other programs such as FoodShare or WIC.
