Located in Waverly, IA, the Meal Support Program, part of Project HEAL, is dedicated to providing compassionate, eating disorder-informed meal support for individuals over 16 who are in outpatient care. Our virtual drop-in group meals create a welcoming and safe environment for participants to enjoy nutritious food while receiving essential support on their recovery journey. With sessions offered four times daily—including two lunch and two dinner times—participants have the flexibility to join as many sessions as they need to fit their schedules. Each meal support session is facilitated by nutrition practitioners from the Clinician’s Incubator training program, who are actively working towards their CNS certification, ensuring a knowledgeable and supportive experience. While we focus on meal support, we encourage anyone in crisis to seek immediate assistance by contacting emergency services.
