Located in West Des Moines, IA, ChildServe’s Autism Program is dedicated to empowering children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families through a wide range of services tailored to their unique needs. Our evidence-based approach includes one of Iowa's few autism diagnostic clinics, where expert child psychologists collaborate with occupational and speech therapists to provide accurate diagnoses and essential resources. Our innovative Autism Day Health program stands out as Iowa's only initiative providing intensive therapy, nursing support, and skill development for children ages 2-6 in a weekday care setting. We also offer intensive speech and occupational therapy sessions designed to enhance communication and life skills, appropriate for children ages 2-6. Additionally, our social group programming fosters confidence and communication in smaller group settings, while our Life Skills Program helps teens and young adults develop vital daily and employment skills. With dedicated behavioral support and family education resources, we aim to be a crucial partner for families, ensuring that every child has access to the programming and funding necessary for their growth and participation in the community. Medicaid eligibility is required for participation, highlighting our commitment to accessible care.
