The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Aberdeen, ID, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Through an immersive six-month program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, we empower Fellows to develop skills in organic farming, food literacy, and community engagement at no cost, ensuring accessibility for all. Participants not only learn to grow and distribute diverse crops but also implement educational initiatives, launch community gardens, and create innovative health programs. Our Fellows play a vital role in supporting local farmers' markets, enhancing access to healthy foods, and collaborating with regional non-profits during their Community Action Year.
