Based in American Falls, ID, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders who advocate for a fair, sustainable food system. This program offers a transformative six-month experiential learning opportunity at Allegheny Farm, allowing Fellows to gain hands-on experience in organic agriculture, community engagement, and food literacy. Without charging tuition, we emphasize accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that all passionate individuals can join our mission. Throughout their Fellowship, participants will grow diverse crops, lead educational sessions, maintain community gardens, and collaborate with local non-profits, all aimed at enhancing access to healthy foods and enriching food systems literacy in their communities. The Fellowship concludes with a Community Action Year, providing Fellows the platform to implement their training and drive meaningful change in partnership with regional organizations.
