Located in Ashton, ID, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship empowers aspiring leaders to champion a food system that is just, sustainable, and equitable. Through a dynamic combination of hands-on learning and community engagement, our program provides selected Fellows with comprehensive education in organic farming, food distribution, and ecological literacy. Over the course of six months at our farm campus, participants will cultivate diverse crops, implement innovative health-focused educational sessions, and actively support local farmers markets. Following their fellowship, the Community Action Year offers Fellows the opportunity to partner with regional non-profit organizations to apply their skills and knowledge. Our commitment to accessibility ensures that we do not charge tuition, allowing a diverse array of individuals to gain the experience necessary to transform their communities and promote healthy food systems. We invite dedicated individuals to apply by March each year for a life-changing experience that will run from May to October.
