In Ashton, Idaho, the Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) program focuses on supporting individuals experiencing food insecurity, particularly those managing diabetes and prediabetes. Through essential partnerships with local clinics and retailers, we aim to enhance access to fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring that our participants have the resources necessary to improve their health. Our initiative provides complimentary vouchers that allow families to shop for nutritious produce at local vendors, alongside valuable nutrition education tailored to foster healthier eating habits. By emphasizing accessible food assistance, we empower eligible individuals, referred by their physicians, to enroll in our impactful six-month program.
