The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Boise, ID, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through free, accessible education and resources. Over the course of twelve months, participants engage with valuable content, including six e-booklets tailored to provide essential information about managing diabetes. Our program also includes a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event updates, available in both English and Spanish. Enrollees who provide their phone numbers can join our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A sessions, where they can pose their diabetes-related questions to experts from the American Diabetes Association, learn about the connection between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways designed to enhance their journey to wellness. We aim to empower our community by making diabetes management both informative and supportive, ensuring that no one faces this challenge alone.
