Center for Change Idaho offers specialized Day Treatment (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for adolescents and adults of all genders struggling with eating disorders. Located in a beautifully restored home in Boise's historic Hyde Park District, the center provides intermediate care for those who need more support than traditional outpatient services but don't require hospitalization. The PHP focuses on active treatment of eating disorders, relapse prevention, body image improvement, goal development, and phobia confrontation while helping clients maintain social, vocational, and educational responsibilities. Clients participate in individual psychotherapy, family sessions, nutritional counseling, experiential and psychoeducational groups, and therapeutic meals in a safe, supportive environment. The IOP allows individuals to receive focused eating disorder treatment while continuing with daily activities like work or school.
