About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Bonners Ferry, ID, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Through hands-on education and training, this program empowers selected Fellows to advocate for a food system that is equitable, environmentally sound, and economically viable. Participants will engage in immersive, experiential learning during a six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they partner with regional non-profits to promote organic food systems, develop community gardens, and enhance food literacy. By providing access to this transformative fellowship with no tuition fees, we strive to ensure that all passionate individuals can contribute to their communities by improving access to healthy foods and supporting local farmers. Applications are welcomed until March of each year, with the fellowship experience taking place from May to October.
