The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Buhl, ID provides a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about creating a just and sustainable food system. This program empowers Fellows with essential training in organic food systems and community advocacy while ensuring accessibility through a no-tuition model. Over a six-month experiential journey at the picturesque Allegheny Farm Campus, selected participants immerse themselves in practical education, cultivating diversified crops, running community gardens, and implementing innovative health education while supporting local farmers markets and food access initiatives. After their fellowship, graduates engage in a Community Action Year, applying their expertise alongside regional non-profit partners to make a tangible impact. Applications are welcomed until March each year for participation from May to October, inviting those ready to be leaders in the movement for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system.
