Located in Burley, ID, the Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) program is dedicated to empowering food-insecure individuals, particularly those with diabetes and prediabetes, by improving their access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Through strong partnerships with local clinics and retailers, we provide essential vouchers for produce, enabling eligible households to shop at nearby vendors without any cost. Additionally, our program offers vital nutrition education, equipping participants with the knowledge they need to manage their health effectively. Each enrolled participant, referred by a physician, engages in this transformative 6-month program designed to foster healthier eating habits and support overall well-being.
