The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cascade, ID, is dedicated to cultivating skilled educators and advocates who champion a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Our Fellowship empowers participants through a tuition-free, immersive education in organic food systems, allowing for greater accessibility. Fellows engage in hands-on experiences at our farm and within the community, where they can grow diversified crops, implement innovative health education programs, maintain school and community gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy. Additionally, they support local farmers markets and develop distribution channels that enhance access to nutritious food. Over a transformative six-month residency followed by a Community Action Year, our Fellows collaborate with regional non-profit organizations, driving meaningful change and fostering community food initiatives. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March of each application year, with the experience typically running from May to October.
