At Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) in Cascade, Idaho, we are dedicated to combating food insecurity among individuals with diabetes and prediabetes by facilitating access to nourishing fresh fruits and vegetables. Our initiative empowers eligible households through partnerships with local clinics and retailers, offering vouchers that allow participants to shop for fresh produce at no cost. Over the course of our six-month program, participants not only receive invaluable nutrition education but also gain the tools needed to manage their health effectively. We believe that everyone deserves to thrive, and we are committed to making fresh, healthy food accessible for our community.
