Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to supporting individuals in Coeur d'Alene, ID who are food insecure and managing diabetes or prediabetes. Through our partnerships with local clinics and retailers, we empower eligible participants by providing vouchers that grant access to fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring that nutrition is both affordable and attainable. In addition to food assistance, we offer nutrition education to help families make informed dietary choices. This 6-month program is referral-based, allowing households to shop for nutritious produce at local vendors with one pressing goal: enhancing health through improved access to fresh food.
