About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cottonwood, ID is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders who advocate for a just and sustainable food system. Through our rigorous training program, we empower Fellows to engage in hands-on education about organic food systems while fostering community collaboration. Our initiative promotes the growth and distribution of diversified crops and facilitates innovative health care education. We are committed to promoting food and ecological literacy in schools, supporting community gardens, and enhancing local farmers markets to improve access to nutritious food. Selected Fellows embark on a transformative six-month immersive experience, followed by a year of community action, where they apply their knowledge in partnership with regional non-profits. We believe that every aspiring advocate should have access to this vital training, which is why we do not charge tuition for our Fellowship program. Applications are accepted until March, with the experience running from May to October.
