The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Council, ID, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free 12-month learning experience. Available in both English and Spanish, this program offers participants a series of six informative e-booklets tailored to address key topics in diabetes management, along with a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources in both languages. Participants can engage with local community events and, by providing their phone numbers, gain access to our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series. Here, they can ask ADA experts their diabetes-related questions, learn about the vital connection between diabetes and heart health, and have the chance to receive helpful giveaways, all designed to empower them in their diabetes journey and promote overall well-being.
