Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to empowering food-insecure individuals in Council, Idaho, particularly those managing diabetes and prediabetes. Our mission is to enhance access to healthy eating by providing vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables, allowing families to shop at local vendors without any out-of-pocket expenses. Through partnerships with healthcare clinics and community retailers, we prioritize nutrition education and support. Eligible participants, referred by their physicians, can enroll in our 6-month program to gain the tools needed for healthier living and better management of their conditions.
