Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to empowering individuals in Emmett, ID, who are food insecure and living with diabetes or prediabetes. Our mission is to enhance their health and well-being by providing essential access to fresh fruits and vegetables through direct partnerships with local clinics and retailers. We offer vouchers that allow families to shop for fresh produce at no cost, alongside valuable nutrition education that supports better dietary choices. Participants in our six-month program are referred by their physicians, ensuring that those who need it most receive the support they deserve while fostering healthier lifestyles in our community.
