Located in Filer, Idaho, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to empowering veterans on their journey to better health through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission centers around the annual screening of every veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring personalized referrals to effective weight management options that align with individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! which provides in-home messaging and clinician support as needed. For those veterans who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app serves as an excellent tool for managing weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for veterans who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
