The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Gooding, ID, is dedicated to training and empowering passionate individuals to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. By providing a unique opportunity to engage in organic food system education, our Fellows gain hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, without the burden of tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Over a six-month immersive program, participants learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, maintain community and school gardens, and implement health-focused educational sessions. They also work closely with local partners to enhance food literacy and support vital initiatives like farmers markets and community food coalitions.
