Located in Gooding, ID, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities by screening them annually for obesity and connecting them to vital weight management resources. We offer a variety of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE!, which allows in-home communication with clinicians. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management and access specialized weight loss medications or bariatric surgery if needed. Participation is straightforward; interested Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to start on their weight loss journey.
