The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Grace, ID, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through hands-on education at Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows engage in six months of immersive learning without the burden of tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. This transformative program offers opportunities to grow diversified crops, create community gardens, and implement innovative health initiatives while fostering food and ecological literacy in schools. Fellows also build distribution pathways for increased access to healthy foods and participate in local farmers markets. After their Fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their training and mentor future cohorts. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences running from May to October.
