At Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) in Hagerman, ID, we are dedicated to combating food insecurity among individuals with diabetes and prediabetes by enhancing their access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Our program connects participants with local clinics and retailers to ensure they receive vouchers that allow them to shop for nutritious produce at no cost. Additionally, we provide essential nutrition education to empower families in managing their health. Through this six-month program, eligible individuals are referred by their physicians, enabling them to make healthier choices and improve their well-being through the power of fresh food.
