Based in Hailey, ID, Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry, known as CORE, is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees experiencing financial difficulties due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to alleviate the stress of unforeseen hardships by providing essential financial assistance for various critical needs, including rent or mortgage payments, utilities, medical bills, therapy, and travel expenses for hospital visits. We understand the unique challenges that families face, especially when the unexpected occurs, and we aim to lighten that burden by covering essential child needs such as diapers and formula, as well as childcare costs. We encourage former grant recipients to apply again after twelve months, allowing them the opportunity for renewed support under new or ongoing challenges, with a lifetime assistance cap of $7,500. At CORE, we firmly believe that no family should have to navigate financial strain alone, especially in times of crisis.
