The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Hansen, ID, cultivates the next generation of food advocates and educators committed to a just and sustainable food system. Our Fellowship provides comprehensive, hands-on training in organic food systems, enabling selected Fellows to engage in diverse initiatives such as growing crops on a market-style farm, managing community gardens, and implementing innovative health care education. Our program emphasizes accessibility, with no tuition fees, and empowers Fellows to champion food and ecological literacy in schools while supporting farmers markets and enhancing access to nutritious food. With a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year collaborating with local non-profits, our Fellows play a vital role in transforming the food landscape in their communities. Applications are accepted until March, with the Fellowship activities taking place from May to October.
