At Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) in Hansen, ID, we are dedicated to supporting food-insecure individuals facing diabetes and prediabetes by enhancing their access to fresh, nutritious produce. Our mission is to empower participants through our program, which provides vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables, allowing families to shop at local vendors without any costs. In addition to food assistance, we offer valuable nutrition education to help individuals manage their health effectively. Participants are referred by their physicians and can enroll in our 6-month program to begin their journey toward better nutrition and well-being in their local community.
