Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to supporting food-insecure residents of Homedale, ID, particularly those managing diabetes and prediabetes. Our mission is to improve access to fresh fruits and vegetables through partnerships with local clinics and vendors, enabling individuals to take charge of their health. Participants receive vouchers to shop for fresh produce at no cost, along with essential nutrition education to empower their dietary choices. This 6-month program operates on physician referrals, ensuring that eligible households have the resources they need to thrive and enhance their well-being.
