About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Idaho Falls, ID, is dedicated to empowering individuals as advocates for a sustainable food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through a robust program of organic food system education, selected Fellows are offered a transformative six-month experience at our farm campus, where they engage in hands-on learning and community-based projects. This fellowship focuses on fostering local partnerships to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education, maintain community gardens, and enhance food and ecological literacy in schools. Additionally, Fellows support farmers markets and develop vital distribution channels to improve access to healthy foods within their communities. With a commitment to inclusivity, we do not charge tuition, ensuring that our fellowship is accessible to all passionate individuals. Applications are open until March each year, with the experience typically running from May to October.
