The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Jerome, ID, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about creating a just and sustainable food system. Through a comprehensive program that includes organic food system education and hands-on experiences, we empower Fellows to become advocates and educators in their communities. Our initiative sponsors, trains, and supports selected Fellows in growing diverse crops, managing community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into educational settings. During their six-month residency at our facilities, and subsequent Community Action Year, Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to enhance access to healthy foods, support farmers markets, and deepen community engagement. With no tuition fees, we strive for inclusivity and ensure that our program is accessible for all dedicated to promoting food justice. Applications are open until March each year, with experiences typically running from May through October.
