At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Kellogg, ID, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for justice within our food systems. Our program empowers selected Fellows through immersive training that spans six months on our beautiful Allegheny Farm Campus. Here, they gain hands-on experience in organic agriculture and engage in critical initiatives designed to promote a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. During their Fellowship, participants will not only cultivate diverse crops but also facilitate educational workshops focused on health care innovation, maintain meaningful community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy in educational settings. As part of their journey, Fellows contribute to vital projects such as farmers markets, direct-to-consumer food distribution, and community food coalitions, all while fostering accessibility to healthy foods for everyone. The Fellowship is designed to be inclusive, so we do not charge tuition, ensuring that all passionate individuals can apply by March each year to start their meaningful work from May to October, making an impactful difference in their communities.
