Located in Ketchum, ID, Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) serves individuals dealing with food insecurity, specifically those diagnosed with diabetes and prediabetes. Our mission is to empower these households by enhancing their access to nutritious, fresh fruits and vegetables through strategic partnerships with local clinics and retailers. Participants in our program receive valuable vouchers that allow them to shop at local vendors without any cost, along with essential nutrition education tailored to their health needs. By working closely with physicians to identify eligible individuals, we aim to create a supportive environment that encourages healthy eating habits and improves overall well-being for our community members over a comprehensive 6-month program.
