The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Kuna, ID is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become advocates for a just and sustainable food system. This transformative program provides comprehensive organic food system education, focusing on social, environmental, and economic integrity. Without charging tuition, we emphasize accessibility, ensuring that passionate individuals can engage in hands-on experiences at our Farm Campus. Participants will immerse themselves in six months of collaborative learning, cultivating diversified crops, maintaining community gardens, and facilitating workshops that promote food and ecological literacy. Fellows will also support farmers markets and develop distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods. Following their initial training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their knowledge with regional non-profit partners to make a lasting impact. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program typically running from May to October.
