At Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) in Kuna, ID, we are dedicated to supporting food-insecure individuals grappling with diabetes and prediabetes. Our mission is to enhance access to fresh fruits and vegetables through valuable partnerships with local clinics and retailers. We provide vouchers that enable eligible households to shop for fresh produce at no expense, alongside essential nutrition education to empower healthier lifestyle choices. Participants are referred by their physicians and engaged in our impactful 6-month program, designed to help them manage their health while enjoying the benefits of nutritious foods.
