Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to supporting individuals in Lapwai, ID, who are facing food insecurity, particularly those managing diabetes and prediabetes. Our mission is to enhance access to fresh produce through established partnerships with local clinics and retailers, enabling eligible participants to shop for fruits and vegetables at no cost to their families using vouchers. In addition to providing these valuable resources, we also offer nutrition education to empower our community with knowledge for healthier choices. Through a straightforward referral process from a physician, participants can enroll in our six-month program, fostering both health and wellbeing.
