At Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) in Malad City, Idaho, we are dedicated to supporting individuals facing food insecurity, particularly those managing diabetes and prediabetes. Our program provides essential access to fresh fruits and vegetables through valuable partnerships with local clinics and retailers. By offering vouchers, we enable participants to shop for nutritious produce at no cost, fostering better health outcomes within our community. Alongside access to fresh food, we also deliver nutrition education to empower families with the knowledge to manage their health effectively. Eligible participants can enroll in our six-month program through physician referrals, as we strive to create a healthier, more supported environment for those in need.
