Located in McCall, Idaho, Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to supporting food-insecure individuals, particularly those with diabetes and prediabetes, in their journey towards better health. Through partnerships with local clinics and retailers, we offer vital food assistance that facilitates access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Our program equips families with vouchers to shop at nearby vendors, ensuring they receive nutritious produce at no cost. Additionally, participants benefit from comprehensive nutrition education, empowering them to manage their health effectively. Referrals from physicians enable eligible individuals to enroll in our impactful six-month program, fostering a healthier community one meal at a time.
