Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to supporting food-insecure residents of McCall, ID, particularly those living with diabetes and prediabetes, by enhancing their access to essential fresh produce. Through valuable partnerships with local clinics and retailers, we provide families with vouchers that enable them to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables at no cost. Our program is designed to empower participants, offering not only access to nutritious food but also essential nutrition education to help manage their health effectively. Enrollment in our six-month program is facilitated through referrals from physicians, ensuring that those in need receive the support they deserve to improve their dietary habits and overall well-being.
