The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Menan, ID, is dedicated to cultivating future leaders who will advocate for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic well-being. Our program empowers selected Fellows through a hands-on, immersive experience at our farm, where they learn about organic food systems and gain practical skills in various community engagements. Fellows participate in growing and distributing diverse crops, developing educational initiatives in health care, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food and ecological literacy in schools. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that our fellows can fully immerse themselves in their training. The Fellowship includes a transformative six-month on-site residency at Allegheny Farm, followed by a Community Action Year, where they apply their knowledge in collaboration with local non-profits. Interested applicants are encouraged to complete their applications by March for the opportunity to partake in this impactful program from May to October.
